Electro World it’s on Electro Dance Camp week. The preparations for the most significant event in Latin America are almost over, and soon Workshops, Conferences and the Main Contest will take place in the state of Durango (Mexico).

This year’s Electro Dance Camp is going to┬ábe promoted as a World Championship event with a Team vs Team and a one vs one category which will include dancers from all over the planet.

To be honest, the vast majority of them will be from the American continent, with the South American e-dancers dominating the scene. From Europe, just the Romanian eboy Matte is already in Mexico for the event.

What are the ambitions of this 2018 EDCamp? Offcourse great as ever: last year Treaxy, Nico, Singa and Milliard took the festival to a new level, and this time with the Electro pillars Spoke and Majestik, the organisation is hoping to improve the big work done in 2017.

The central fact is one and only: The Durango’s Electro event is now the big reference for the International events in America. Some European teams think a lot about participation in this contest, so if not this year, the next they will undoubtedly come.

The registration sheets show a massive amount of dancers to compete in this championship: Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Peru, Romania, the United States and of course, Mexico, are the countries represented. For the moment Electroisthefuture.com understands EDCamp will have around 160 competitors from Mexico and 30 competitors from abroad. As we write this story, we still don’t know how many teams will take part in the Crew vs Crew tournament, but looking at the numbers, we can expect only Mexican groups and maybe Colombia or Peru in this category.

We will update you with more news as soon as possible, and full coverage of the event will be made this weekend.
